I'm always an enabler when it comes to RM bags--they are my favorites and comprise most of my handbag collection -- so I say Yes! Olive is a great color and the guitar strap is fun. It looks so great with the color pallete that you have going.

Angie I too prefer bags over shoes and have more than I need.

It's a gorgeous bag. The leather looks lovely. I would encourage you to get it knowing how you are enjoying splashes of olive. It mentions how the strap is optional and one of the reviewers said she swaps it out for a regular strap sometimes. I hope you get it!

It fits all the criteria of what I needed after the straps on my Patricia Nash and Coach purses broke--small, crossbody, removable/replaceable strap, neutral color, outside slip pocket for my phone, main body can be securely closed. I found one that even has a zippered outside pocket for my wallet and a guitar strap (I got a fashion thing before Angie, what?) But I didn't have a Minkhoff budget. I got one from thesak, lol.
I don't like carrying a purse. I'd prefer a life where I need a messenger bag for laptop, books, & papers. Or life in a cooler place with big jackets with pockets. But this is my real life now. Carrying a purse. Le sigh.

Would the princess of darkness own another color? But I do have a black strap with silver studs, one with gold studs, and a lovely embroidered flower strap that has gold and silver to swap out looks. They work with any bag that has d ring side clips so incredibly versatile. Love them!!

I blame TraceyLiz, but I really love the guitar strap crossbody now. My favourite place for bags (yes, that would be Target) had a white one with a *Gucci* stripe guitar strap, and it's become a big fave. Lol, I put my lunch in it and take it to work.

IMO a great bag is essential to the overall success of an outfit. The olive bag is gorgeous, will go with your new favorites, have some sentimental sweetness and is functional! Get it! It belongs I the youlookfab club. Someday it will be a well loved, archived piece!

I am glad you got the bag, Angie. BUT I AM SITTING ON MY HANDS AGAIN. I was sorely tempted once I saw Teresa modeling her color. You know I have all those olive items on order, and my beloved khaki bag bit the dust last year, and I have been waiting for a replacement to grab me. I am missing the gift card justification though.

Even if you never find a plain strap, and guitar strap mania fades a bit, the bag would always be great at a concert. For example, the bluegrass concert we went to last night.
