This is a direction i'd like to move it but I have few (read that as no) local options for these types of looks. I'd like to try a go in the dressing room and "see" if it feels right. But maybe I just need to hit up the mail order.
Will be so useful for muffintop phobics like me! If I can pull it off, definitely in!Wondering if I can put some of my Indian Kurtis to use in this way!
This is fantastic. I love the combination of lengths/textures with neutral colors. I'd probably need to be at least six inches taller to pull it off though.
I'd love to wear this but don't have the courage. One has to admire how the stylist casual-ized the top pieces with denim ;). The style would disguise muffin top.
TRY IT if you like the look and style integrity. It's your YLF homework and a fun little style project. The petites merely need to shorten lengths - that's all.
It's not structured enough for me personally, but I do like it and will love seeing it on others. And what makes it even more great, in my books, is that it is a LIGHT neutral as opposed to black! Bring on the varied neutrals, avant-garde designers!
My sentiments exactly, Suz. But, I'm going to have such fun dressing some of my clients in this look for late Spring and Summer. I'm excited. It's a great statement, and particularly pretty in light neutrals.
Ditto to AviaMariah. I'll admire on others, and maybe take inspiration from a pared down version -- I think this is too many layers for me in warmer weather.
