August in Scotland

Hi Fabbers, yesterday evening I wore the skirt and All Saints top. And, even in August, opaque black tights! It rained a lot yesterday! This skirt will look better with my new heels.

Today I went to Dumfries, in a kind of Goldenpig Natalie tribute outfit, with matching cardigan, bag and scarf, complete with waterproof!

Later DH and I took the dogs for a walk. The castle ruins are 800 years old! The colours were amazing, as ever.

You look great! Cute dogs. This makes me want to revisit Scotland, I was there two years ago. Three weeks in August and it was fairly cold and rainy too.

Your outfit looks great and also comfortable to run around in. The top works really well with the flare of the skirt. And the dogs are so awesome! I would love to visit Scotland, I have never been. We had our DNA tested by Ancestry.com and a large percentage of Scots came up. So we all want to go even more now. My seven year old niece is positive she will be able to find Hogwarts!

I envy you being in Scotland! Spent my honeymoon there quite a few years ago....
The florals, stripes, and the accent of the orange(?) trim on the jacket are wonderful together!

HI Binkle, the jacket stripe is a very bright peachy / orangery colour and it has a puffer inner liner, that is super bright - I've bought it with me just in case it gets cold (likely, I would think, even though it's August!). Lovely place to come on your honeymoon.

Bijou - hardly believable is it - and I nearly didn't pack any tights!

Sisi - Porridge in particular is like one large giant teddy bear and simply can not be touched enough!
