I deeply regret not getting that H&M coat. It is still available in the online shop. Only one problem: It's available in Sweden and I don't live in Sweden! I don't think we even have any forum members living in Sweden.

Someone (was it Fiona?) mentioned it was available again in London so I'm thinking it might be available Euro-wide. Alas, US stores are still fool of mushroom-colored garbage and not a coat in sight.

So..would anyone be willing to check and see if it is available in a 34 or 36 and pick it up for me? I can pay you via Paypal, including shipping it here of course. Desperate times call for desperate measures! It would actually still end up being about as expensive as trying to find one that I like here, so what the heck. It would be a great favor and I will gladly do the same if you ever need something from the US.

Yep, still a night owl, I actually went to bed at 3.20 am last night, so I just missed this post;-)

There are two H&M stores I could check out on Saturday if you like Maya. Would both a 34 or 36 work for you?
(I remember seeing it here quite a few weeks ago, so fingers crossed it's still available).

Oh.. sorry Maya.. I have been looking for this trech too because it seems so flattering but I have not been able to find it in Portugal! I don't know if H&M has the same items on every store or some items are sold only in some countries..
Hope someone else can help you! I bet you will look fab in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was planning on actually having a lunch hour today, so will head up to Regent Street H&M (which is a reasonably large store) and see what I can find.

Oh, maybe it's not Euro-wide? I'm just curious to see if it came back in stock as Fiona had mentioned it did. I think based on Dawn's input I should go with a 34. If anyone sees it, pretty please nab it for me (and for yourself--it looks like I'm not the only one who regrets missing out).

I see you are online at the moment. I have a deadline so need to go to work now, but just wanted to let you know that I visited three H&M stores today and your coral trench was nowhere in sight. So they probably didn't restock them here-(((

I'm SO sorry, incredibly frustrating, isn't it.
(I saw a gorgeous purple lined trench at Mexx a month ago, I wanted to get it after saving up for it, but it's sold out nationwide too).

I hope someone else can find it for you!!

Oh Inge, I am so so impressed that you even went through the trouble! Thank you! I wasn't expecting any miracles, so no worries. I just thought I'd put out a plea just in case! Even in the Swedish online store, it is only available in limited quantities in my size, and only in black. I am pretty sure it's gone I'm checking ebay every day though.

It's so hard to find the right coat. They either have the wrong silhouette and details, wrong length, wrong color, wrong price. sigh.

Oh.. so sorry Maya! I went to a lot to buy my trench coat also, there are so many double breasted, with pockets on the hips or pockets on the boobs.. well all the things we try to avoid.

I didn't end up having a chance to look until today, and there were two left, but in a size 16. I will keep looking whenever I have the chance (especially if I don't end up going to NZ).

I've felt for you as I bought that trench when Angie recommended it. I'm in the UK in York and have rung these stores that don't have any:
York
Leeds (both stores)
Hull
Sheffield

Harrogate has a size 32 put to one side for me.
Newcastle has a size 36 also put to one side for me.

It might be possible for me to get over to Harrogate for the 32. Newcastle is a bit of a trek for me, but you could put in a desperate plea for YLFers in Newcastle. Alternatively a friend of mine might be able to collect it but I'm not seeing her until June and it might be just too much to ask her to pack it all up and send it on before then. H&M won't send it, unfortunately.

Let me know what you want to do.

I think a 32 will be too little. That is Angie's size. I won't be able to layer at all.

I think I can get the 36 and have it altered if necessary. But it sounds like a major inconvenience for you. Hmm. Any YLFers in or near Newcastle?

They're holding it until the end of tomorrow and they just said they couldn't post it - I didn't even ask if they'd post it out of the country (that would have been my next question...).

What's the sku?

If it's the code number it's 842050 - that's the number on the care label - although when I asked the store for the code of the one they were keeping they read it out as 084205.

I may have a plan about the Newcastle option. Will let you know.
