ASOS blouses - keep or return?

I received the following order from ASOS this evening and, as I'm going to be MIA at a business conference shortly, I would like to make sure I get my returns off in the mail tomorrow if anything needs to go back.

At the moment, I am leaning towards keeping the leopard print pussycat bow blouse - even though it has capped sleeves - because it drapes so beautifully and fits so well.

I was not as impressed with the black blouse with longer sleeves as I had hoped to be. It is too stiff and just doesn't capture the feeling I was going for. (I was originally hoping it would be similar to the black pussycat bow blouse that Angie has posted in a few of her blog outfits, except with a lower neckline.)

I like the black one in picture #1 but don't like it in #3.
I would keep #2.

OMG, the leopard one is AMAZING on you!!! I mean, like AMAZING AMAZING.

I think you may be right about the black one. I'd like to see a softer look to the bow.

I love the leopard one too. It looks great on you. The bow on the black one does look better on the website. Can you tie it a little lower and try the loops smaller? Not sure if that would make a difference.

Oh, good - I'm glad #2 has positive responses so far.

Kappy, tying the bow smaller & lower doesn't make much difference. And actually, though I'm not crazy about the shape of the bow due to the stiffness of the fabric, the real problem is that the torso is much too stiff and just folds/wrinkles in odd places. It's just not for me.

So, I guess the question is whether the leopard print blouse is good enough to keep (a "10") despite the sleeve length.

I love #2. I must since I bought it too. I wear mine with a black cami from gap under it. It works with so many bottoms and jackets. I think it is a 10 and looks great on you.

Leopard blouse is a ten-plus!!

Dianthus, I love both of your outfits with this blouse that you have featured so far. I like how you posted both a very ladylike, sophisticated look with a pencil skirt (right up my alley) and an edgier, urban look with that awesome jacket. So many inspiring ideas!

Kari thanks for taking the time to post these pics! Agree that the leopard blouse is fab on you. I also don't mind the black one either though, although I guess it is difficult to properly assess in a photo. Do you think the fabric might soften with washing?

I love the leopard one, too, and like yublocka, I'm wondering if the black one might become more drapey after it's been washed? Is it a cotton or cotton blend? But if you are not 100% sold on it, then send it back.

But the leopard one you have to keep!

Tam and ButterflyLady, I don't know whether the black one will soften with wash. It just really feels like a stiff fabric that isn't likely to relax much. I'd rather not chance washing it and finding that I still dislike the blouse, and then be unable to return it to ASOS.

I would feel the same, Kari, about the black one.

Keeping the print and returning the solid, nice choice here. A good fitting print is harder to find anyway, so a great score with this order.

Okay, thanks for confirming my decision. I wore the leopard print blouse yesterday and *loved* it, despite the cap sleeves. It's coming with me to Las Vegas. Hooray!

Leopard print to die for!!!Asos is hit or miss for me. Some things look great but are either a weird cut or bad material while others are just great!!!The models are all so skinny it is hard to tell how anything will fit.I love the cap sleeves on you!

Late to the party but so glad you kept the leopard. It looks amazing on you, and I quite like what those cap sleeves you were skeptical about do for your arms/the look.
