Along the lines of goldenpig's survey of how much time we spend on YLF,

I was wondering if some sort of running timer could pop up every time we log on? Maybe located at the upper right, next to our user name?

Is anyone else interested in this? Yay or Nay?

I think if you go to your profile page it will say how long you have been 'active'. I think that corresponds to how long you've been logged on? I could be totally wrong here though!

I am mum in this case coz I don't like leaving YLF after I log in here.:-P

@Mo - I just checked my profile page and it said that I was active "0 seconds ago." That doesn't make sense since I've been logged on for quite awhile already.

Plus, it would be nice to have the timer on the same page that you're at.

Hunh, I checked and you were at 19 minutes when I looked, but my own page said 0. Odd. I think I would be scared to see my time clock honestly!!

Good idea, however I have DH and DS would very kindly bring to my attention just how long I have been logged on

Hahaha, is it cumulative, as in, "GP has spent 1 billion minutes here since joining! One billion and one..." XD

A timer would be a great idea! I'm curious to know. As long as it has a quick click button to hide it if the hubby/SO walks by...

I'm with Louise and Scarlet... a timer sounds very stressful to me! I vote nay.

If you do add it, please do so as an option, not a default. This is my down time, I don't want it to be stressful.

AJ, have you thought about downloading a timer app that you can keep open on your desktop? I have one for my Mac (that I use for work).

Lol. I haven't been around recently but based on past participation I don't think I'd want to know either! *hangs head in shame*

I think that is a good idea! Of course I could just set an alarm on my phone.
