A year ago I bought a pair of ballerina shoes and a week ago when I was walking down the street my shoes started to fall off my feet.

Sometimes ballerina flats can be tricky to fit. =( I was wondering if it would be a good idea to bring socks of various thicknesses when trying on shoes or at least bring the ones you'd wear with the shoes most often.

I know that many of our readers struggle with keeping ballerina flats on, they do tend to slip off heels. Not sure if there is a solution unfortunately...

Yeah, ballerina flats can be tricky. I usually end up buying leather ones that are a bit too tight at first, with the hopes that as they loosen up they won't fall off my feet. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. The Sam Edelman Felicia flats have worked really well for me, better than other flats.

Yes, mine get wider with wear. Then I replace them. A.strap of some kind helps. It can be minimal. Sometimes using shoe inserts helps.

I have a high arch and rounded heels and ballerina flats are more comfortable for me than almost any other shoe type. It sounds like these aren’t a good fit for you.

Strap or the type of one that has elastic in the heel. I used to have amazing burgundy Burberry ones that were like that (before I went vegan and before they eventually fell apart because I wore them too much).

I haven't found any that don't fall off my heels. They do make some with elastic back that could work better for you though.

Ballet flats fall off my feet. I don't know how they would stay on without a strap.

I wear ballet flats and from my experience, only the shallow ones fall off.
I recommend Everlane flats, I wore them the whole summer without any issues.

I don’t wear them, but I know you get get inserts that go in the back of the shoe, behind your foot, to help with this issue.
