Ask Angie: White Vest Fit

I'm very seriously thinking of purchasing the Kenneth Cole Daisy vest in white that I linked to in my vest thread (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ringsummer) but I have two questions regarding fit:

1. Because of the style, should this only be worn done up? I did find some images on the internet of it unzipped and it had a "cut away" effect which I really like, but am not sure if it should be worn that way.

2. For a moto style vest like this, should it fit snug to the body when zipped or be more fluid and loose as per a modern fit?

Well, I really like it. I'm not sure how it should fit though. It looks fairly structured on the model but not super snug.

Hi Shannon! I love the vest for you, although fit is always hard to gauge on something like this. You'll never know until you try! Whether it works unzipped or not depends upon the weight and structure of the fabric, I think. I like it in the pic both ways!

Thanks Sara and Beth Ann - I have the feeling the fit on a vest which is fairly structured such as this one could potentially be tricky. And I can't find it anywhere in Canada so the ordering is quite pricey if the item ends up being returned. Will have to think some more on it.

I'm glad Angie posted here and I wanted to add that I like the freer, more open styling with the vest unzipped, too. It also has a nice architectural look to it that way.

Thanks for weighing Angie (and all). This vest is under serious consideration so good to know you think it has potential. And unzipped is better in the heat anyway so glad to hear you think that looks ok.
