I have really figured out in the last two weeks that I enjoy an outfit with some fluidity on either the top or bottom as long as there is sufficient structure paired with it - for example my EF draped front dress with a structured blazer or a pencil skirt with a fluid pullover.

This is a combination that can get a little trickier when we get into the heat of summer but I'm thinking a vest could provide the same structure as a blazer but without the full coverage.

I found this gorgeous white Calvin Klein vest at The Bay and am wondering what you think about something along this line? I'd want something with a bit of length to it (not cropped) to have a more modern silhouette and I like the idea of white to brighten things up. I'm not saying this one in particular would fit (I suspect it would be too long on me, although I'd have to try it on to be sure). This one could also be too hot with the lining. Maybe something in linen if possible?

Anyway my question is about the idea of a crisp white vest - what do you think?
