Ask Angie: Where do you find your nude hose?

I've wondered this for quite awhile and I haven't found the answer on your site. I'm similar coloring to you (Angie) yet I can never find nude hose that isn't too dark. What brand of nude hose do you use? I've tried everything from drug store to Wolford and not found anything that matches my coloring. Thanks!

Laura, I think Angie is traveling at the moment, so it might take a while for her to reply. Some of our other forum members, particularly the fab MaryK, wear nude hose all the time --- perhaps they'll weigh in.

Me? I favor nude microfishnets, but my favorites, cheapies that wore like iron from No Nonsense, have been discontinued. Sigh.

I also have very fair coloring and wear nude hose in the spring and fall. Angie recommended this brand in one of her blog posts, and I love them.

Thistle, your link isn't redirecting at the moment. What is the brand? I am going to try googling it.

I like Hanes Silk Reflections, I think the color is 'sand' or 'nude' (whichever is lighter). It seems to match my pale and pasty skin tone well

No Nonsense is the best. It *is* tough as nails. I used to find nude at Wal-Mart (as opposed to the ubiquitious suntan).

La Belle - It is the Nordstrom House brand sheer hose. They don't wear like iron, per se, but I thought they wear well and look nice. And, they don't itch or feel rough against my skin. I still prefer bare legs, but this are great when you need a little extra warmth.

I prefer the regular non-control top. Or, I just size up. I do not like being squished

I wear Hanes Silk Reflections, too. I get them at One Hanes Place when they go on sale. They come in a bunch of colors and I get the second-lightest, the name of which escapes me at the moment. Maybe Barely There? Or maybe Little Color?
