I am hoping to hunt down some new glasses frames on my day in Seattle, if Aida is willing to accompany me! Do you have suggestions for places to look? I'm willing to pay a fair amount for the perfect pair, as I wear my glasses for many years and strong statement frames are a part of my signature look. TIA!

DO NOT go to See Optical. Very high pressure, and now I realize with my current pair overpriced for the quality.

Oh Anna, My red frames came from See in Washington DC. I had no pressure but found mine in the readers section for $70.

I liked See and got my most recent pair there. Didn't feel pressured. I'm sorry Anna had a bad experience there. The selection is fun.

Eyes on Fremont is also a great place to shop for glasses.

I'd head out to Ottica and Market Optical first. See is quite good too.

Ottica is a must for you, I'd say, Una. Got to at least look. I was so taken with a pair of frames there, but ultimately decided they were too much of a statement for me. The store definitely gave me a new perspective on frames, though.
Oh, and I'd be glad to go along for some of the specs shopping.
