I always had trouble accessorizing. I never know what goes with the outfit I picked out. Should I wear golden jewelry, silver, beaded, what color? Short or long necklaces? Should I pick a color that complements the color of the outfit or wear something that is the same color as the outfit... Please help.

Welcome, Nancy. Angie is away from the forum just now so she may not see this post.

I can't answer for her, but I will say that some people tend to choose between gold and silver (depending on skin tone) and others happily mix metals. Sometimes a complementary colour is nice and sometimes a tonal variation is great. In short -- it's all about what pleases your own eye and experimenting can be fun!

A few more ideas -- if your hair is blonde, you'll probably look good in gold or rose gold but may also look good in silver (especially if you have a cooler toned complexion). If your hair is silver, like mine -- well, I wear exclusively silver! If you have red hair, rose gold could be beautiful. Brunettes can choose depending on skin tone and preference.

If there is a type of jewellery that you find easier (e.g. necklaces or earrings) maybe start experimenting there.
