Back home now...it was great fun and so helpful to have all your real-time advice in the fitting room. Now I have my own mirror and ability to style (though doing that sort of slap-dash).

I found these two jackets at the NAS sale, quite unexpectedly. As I said earlier, I can take one, both or none; I just insist that they be 10s for me to keep them. One is RATE, the other not.

Everyone already pointed out the sleeves being too long. I don't even factor that in at this point--it's the story of my life. Maybe I will try and fix, but I may not even bother. I don't know if petites were available (maybe for the Halogen one), and if they are I can adjust and order online.

So what do you think? I already suspect that the RATE Soia and Kyo jacket is too bulky for my short frame....I really do like it, and that style, and hope it's deemed a keeper, but if not that's fine.

Someone, maybe Iron Kurtin, had mentioned a point about the Halogen jacket's hue not being the best close to my face. I hadn't thought about that. Would this be a jacket I'd always need to wear a scarf with?

And to further add to the possibilities, I had already been considering this jacket, which is only available online:

Colorwise, I think a rich brown is good for me. I have no idea about length and overall fit, obviously. I should go ahead and order anyway, since it's in short supply.

Thank you all in advance for your honest appraisal(s).
