ask all: tsubo irl?

i realized my gaping wardrobe hole needs to be filled with comfy shoes that look less boho, more modern classic or runway. i found these. hoping for irl reviews of these tsubo acrea pumps.

I've never tried those, but I do have a pair of Tsubo flat boots and they are almost ridiculously comfortable. I've heard good things about the brand in general -- all of their footwear is supposed to be engineered for comfort. So my guess is that those pumps will be a success.

I have the Acreas and adore them. Supercomfy and easy to wear all day. I can't wear pumps with heels generally, but these have made my life so much easier when I have to dress up. I'm wearing them in my NOLA wedding pix, which I will find for you...

I don't have the Acreas but I have owned three pairs of Tsubo and they are so very comfortable. I highly recommend them. I find they are true to size - although the boots I have are a little on the wide side. The T straps are perfect.

Sal at Already Pretty is a huge fan of these. There's a review of them on her site somewhere, probably atleast a year old. You've got me contemplating them again. What color are you thinking? I'm digging the grey.

They are. I think I tried my true size 5.5 but needed a half-size up for width. Could have gone with the 5.5 though. What color are you considering? Here's my picture with them on (first photo) in my version of nude:

I have a slightly wide foot and ordered my usual size. The only fit problem I notice is that my foot tends to slide a bit forward into the toe box. If I didn't worry about width, I might have sized down a 1/2 size. I could remedy this if I quit wearing thin, slippery trouser socks, I suppose!
