Picture 1: My sister, mom and me dressed for the ceremony. I got so many compliments on the color of this dress!

Picture 2: Me with the bride and groom at the wedding. Look at the bride's AMAZING wedding gown - so cool. The Tadashi magenta dress my mom got me, which she was thrilled to see me wearing.

Picture 3: Me in the black dress at Pat O'Brian's, right before some drunk guy at his bachelor party used the worst pick-up line ever on me. This is the black dress you all suggested for the night out - perfect!

Thanks for all your input and for not making me buy a new dress!

You looked great in all three - why buy new when you couldn't have found anything as good as those? That orange dress is really a knockout. Love your sisters purple also - you look good together :0

Did the bride change from the ceremony? Or was that on different days?

Una these are terrific! I love seeing your family! Your orange dress is so fab in pic one. Your mother looks more like me than my own mother does, we have the same hair, lol! Your purple dress, excuse me, MAGENTA dress is amazing. You look so glamorous! After seeing you skiing in magenta, I'm not surprised that you (or Mom) chose a dress for you in this color. Black dress is fun too with that gold clutch. A guy tried to pick you up? I would take that as a compliment, even if he was drunk. Kind of like being carded! You look great and I hope you've had time to rest up after your big trip!

OMG, Claire, not just A guy - almost every guy around, all with this line: "It's my bachelor party." THE WORST! And not really flattering - since I'm pretty sure none of them could even see straight.

My mom does have your haircut! And you can see from her why I'm not afraid of letting my hair go white.

Well! Thank goodness those drunken not-quite-bachelors didn't see you in the orange dress, because that is a KNOCKOUT! Your mom looks so elegant in pink and pearls --- a modern-day Gayatri Devi vibe with her chic hairstyle, and your sister does have a decided resemblance to you. I can't believe this same vision in purple urged you to try a hooker-ish get-up!

And indeed, WHAT A BRIDE! Gotta love a woman who maintains her personal style in the face of the cookie-cutter wedding confections industry! Clearly this family specializes in women that know their unique style --- because there you are right beside her, gorgeous in that Tadashi number! Your mum must be so pleased with herself for choosing that!

Love the addition of that yellow bag to the black dress. So much more fun and fashion-forward than the usual tiny metallic clutch!

WOW - gorgeous! I's say you're batting 3 for 3 here. I LOVE the colors in #1 - you all look radiant! And you're right the bride looks terrific in #2 and so do you! And you're very chic in #3 (sorry about the drunk).
