Wow, a strong & bright cobalt always stays out, and looks amazing on you!

Thank you very much JenniNZ, Lyn67 and ChristinaF, you are very kind.

Dear Fabbers, I have added an outfit inspired by Halftime - oranges. Pics and text in the beginning of the post.

OH WOW. Perfection. I actually like your second rendition more. It is pale and muted in comparison to some of your ensembles, but I really like the combination of green with touches of orange. Fabulous jewelry, by the way.

I really like it Katerina. I can see that you usually wear stronger colours but I find this soothing with the nice pop of colour from the necklace. I have also been wanting to do a second Art outfit and have been planning them in my head but not sure if I will have time. It's fun to think about!

Thank you Sterling for the positive feedback! And have you noticed - what I am glad about (a bit of a challenge actually :-)) - no scarf! Only a little one on the bag....

Becky, thank you!

Thank you Jenni NZ! Agree, it IS fun to plan outfits and this challenge is so interesting. I am looking forward to your second art outfit if you have the time to post.

It’s looks good to me but I know that colour (like pattern) is very personal. Great interpretation.

Halftime: I really like your orange and green outfit. Looks beautiful and you’ve accessorized perfectly. Yes, it’s different in tone to your usual palette, but just as beautiful :). There is still a enough contrast and drama there, and your bright orange/red lip is to die for. Actually it seems like a nice beach resort outfit.... with that orange bead necklace and the white pants.

Katerina -- I DID notice that your ensemble did not include a scarf!!!

I really like this latest ensemble of yours. I LOVE that necklace. It has flair and yet looks easy/comfortable to wear. I like the softer colors. I don't know if it is Summer where you live, but these colors speak to a summer-ish, slightly relaxed feeling. It suits you. You look happy.

Oh! I have been searching high and low for a brooch that speaks to me. I might have found it at Brooks Brothers. I'll see if I can collect a find later today.

The brooch is a flower. It is on the small side so I can experiment and get used to the idea. YAY me.

I like you interpretation with orange, great outfit. love your dress.

Brooklyn, Jussie and Mirjana, thank you very much for the feedback and support, so kind.

Sterling, thank you so very much! Yes, it is summer here, relatively warm - about 27 C, but I have very effective AC in the office, so my outfits are rather warm anyway. High five to your new brooch, I am really looking forward to a picture! How fun you found one that appeals to you!

Wow isn't that the perfect necklace for the oranges!!

I think this is a great outfit and you look really good in it. I think the orange and white are enough to make it have the freshness/contrast that you wear so well. If you wore the green say with blue denim I don't think it would work as well.

So I do really like it - a summery smart but relaxed look.

Thank you very much, Sal, for looking and for the thorough analysis, you are very kind and again, thanks for the fun challenge.

I like them all! You nailed it.

Was that necklace made for this challenge or what! FUN seeing you without a scarf (except a little on the bag ), nicely up to the challenge there. Lovely breezy arty outfit in autumnal colors which are a bit unexpected, but yes definitely a lower contrast than your usual jewel tones. I think it works well, though! The white and orange definitely brighten the softer green. Interestingly, the colors you describe as your usual pairing seem even lower contrast than what you've shown us here but would have more depth in terms of darkness.

Aida, thank you very much! So interesting, what you say about the low contrast of the my described usual pairings. I wear the orange with black and with very dark navy and the green with bright fuchsia or white. These combination make the orange and the green appear to be brighter, or perhaps, the outfits appear brighter, more fresh. Probably, I used the wrong term - contrast. Don’t know really how to describe it...
