Whoaaaaa. I really can't stand it when people are passive agressive. They do it to then feign victimhood. Yuck. This is not a cultural thing, kindness crosses all cultures. I have heard that type of comment a lot and that is why I also like YLF. Some people seem to think that the they way YOU dress is suppose to somehow be for them.

I really think that people don't get that. We live in an age where we think that when we see something we like, it should be ours. If we see something we don't like, "it's not me". We are the sun in the solar system . Anyway, she definitely has a ax to grind with you. Can you block her ? Otherwise, really , ignore her.

Yes. Aren't we all. The rest of us are happy about that. (LOL - example of cultural humour difference.

Sorry to hear about the negative comments. The only comment that matters on an outfit is your own. After all you are the one who has to wear the outfit. And I do think as others have said when you put something out into the public you will alwyas have someone who loves it and someone who just does not. How to be tactful is not a trait everyone shares.

You must of never been on usenet in the early days of the internet. Flame wars were very common. Even alt.fashion was pretty snarky and that was a "safe area".
I've been told point blank on here that someone did not like my style. If you put yourself out there you're going to need a thick skin.

I'm so sorry about all that's happened, both on the blog and even more on the sales that ended up not going through after he did all that work.

Another board I used to visit actually encouraged members to say NMS, for Not My Style, as a NICE way to say they didn't care for something. And in my own family, we would say that, maybe even in an admiring way: "I think that shirt is great on you, but it's not my style. . . " just not right for me for whatever reason. Any chance that's all she meant?

I do like your style, and could even see myself wanting to copy it.
