Oh, Joyce. I'm so sorry. I assume you've been to veterinary specialists?
I do not have words of wisdom for kidney failure, but I know what it's like to look after extremely sick dogs. We put our lives on hold and managed two very sick doggies with congestive heart failure. One after the other - (Jasmine first, and then Rosie). We kept them very comfortable, happy, on lots of meds around the clock, and saw to their every need for years. We spent all the time we could with them, and did not travel, or go out for supper. We didn't even have people over to our home because it was too disruptive for our patients. It was a sad and traumatic time, and my heart goes out to you and your sweet and brave doggie.
