Angie's recent post made me think of this outfit, which features a pastel moto jacket. I paired it with a vintage lace dress and nude pumps. I really like the combination of the old with the new. What do you think? My apologies that the pictures came out a bit fuzzy.

Very cute outfit for a date! Reminds me of something...the movie Crybaby? There's something vintage about this look, I think its the dress , but the biker jacket adds a touch of coolness while still remaining feminine. Very well put together! Fab shoes btw.

Yes, this is great juxtaposition and a great outfit ! You could have worn a black jacket which is touted as a wardrobe staple, but the pastel gives such a fresh tonal look, while the moto style is un-sweetening the outfit enough.

@unfrumped I love the effect that the pastel gives versus a darker jacket or even the same color jacket (which I normally wear)
@Suz I'm hoping they will stretch out a bit in time

Lovely. Soft and pretty wth the leather to keep it from being too sweet. Sorry the shoes aren't comfortable.

Thanks Thistle! I like the 'edge' that the leather moto adds I'm keeping hope alive with the shoes! Perhaps some inserts may help, if they do not stretch out over time.

This is so elegant, with a subtle edge. I like the delicate strap in the shoes, hope they do stretch out and become more comfortable.

@Angie I know I have truly done it when I read "Killer"!
@April I love this bag, but I notice that it shows of wear and tear quite a bit more than my other handbags. For example, most of the pewter has rubbed off the handles Have you noticed anything similar? Perhaps I use it too much, although I am generally very easy on my bags O_O
@Jewell I like the pearls with it too, but I am thinking next time I may take off the silver chain. Taking pictures provides such a great visual of how things really look!
