The new Anthro dress arrived just now, and the bodice is definitely sewn better on this one than the first one I received!

I’m trying it on here right after my Pilates class on an 80 degree day, so I’m a little flushed, but with not a stitch of makeup on. I don’t think the color is bad on me at all, which surprises me — but I think the red/burgundy in the flowers and the fact that the apricot background isn’t too pale really helps.

Here are pics with the shoulder completely released, and tied up to create more of a sleeveless effect. I could go for something in between the two, also, but it’s nice to have options.

I will see what my husband thinks too, but I’m liking it. It’s not TOO boho. Just one tier and it’s not very obvious. The fabric is nice — not too heavy, not too sheer, not too wrinkly. And yay for pockets!

Could probably dress it up with heels and a nice bag for an occasion, but more likely to wear it casually, with flat sandals like here, or maybe my white fisherman sandals? White sneakers? Metallic sandals or sneakers. Denim jacket would work over it too for cooler temps.

1-3 sleeves down (would need to do something with the ties)
4-5 sleeves up

I welcome your opinions!
