I was very keen to own a co ord this year but couldn’t find anything that took my fancy until l saw a lady being styled on Melissa Murrell s blog in a green co ord from Zara. I thought it was so pretty but discounted it in the basis that the lady concerned was 5ft 1 and the top was described as cropped and whilst it showed no tummy on her lam 5ft 8 with a long body.All the model pictures on the website show acres of stomach on display so l thought it was not for me….until l saw Janet wearing this co ord.l know that she is a tall lady and whilst we do not have the same figure type l thought it was worth a punt.
l wore it for the first time today.It is absolutely boiling here in the UK at the moment but the cotton is so light and comfortable and the fit is not too tight that l felt great all day .What’s more l got unsolicited compliments!One of my neighbours on the way out and then at the theatre tonight(first trip since Covid) we were having our tickets checked by one usher when another came rushing over and said that she just had to complement me on my outfit!l am not used to all this attention!
If anyone is interested l am usually a uk 10/12 and the medium is perfect.
