I really enjoyed wearing this outfit yesterday, even though I know that cropped unfitted sweaters can be deadly on my busty,short-wasted self. Always on the lookout for good black sweaters, I found this one in my favourite indie boutique and picked up the lace trimmed sleeveless tank at the same time. It's the perfect filler for wider necklines in winter. The sweater is risky flattery-wise, but the cut felt a little more contemporary than my usual so I went with it. Beautiful Italian wool, warm and cozy without being stifling and hot. Old Zara pants which got tons of comments - they are "out there" but.....
I wish I had duplicated these pants in other solid colours - they are perfect everyday pants for me: pockets, pull on style, big fun cuff.
And following along with my dressier mood, I found this pearl/leather neck piece I forgot I owned, which made me feel prettier and polished. Suede Zara boots that went into the garbage the minute I got home . (something is loose inside the block heel and made the most obnoxious noise all day long - SO fussy and ridiculous. I have no time for things like that that draw attention to the wearer for all of the wrong reasons.)

'Since my personal woe-is-me post of last week, I've had a lovely week of lots of self-care, complete elimination of gluten and alcohol, and tons of collagen in everything I drink (coffee, water). Back onto my Candicin and Probiotics too. I'm already feeling less miserable, and hope to keep the good feelings up. Thank you to all who indulged me, and to those who offered suggestions and ideas. I'm deep-diving into my nutrition reading again, and looking at a few options for long -term weight and health stability .

Cheers
