Another try with the denim dress and dog walking

Here is the denim dress again with different accessories, which I think helped. Thanks for the suggestions in my other thread!
Of course the pink bag being in the new photo makes a big difference. Also used a brighter color on my toenails.
The second outfit is pretty much my everyday around the house attire. I am enjoying these crops from JCP and bought two pair. They don't wrinkle and the pug hairs don't seem to cling either, which is a huge plus.

As you can see in the picture I have discovered that the dog crate is an excellent drying rack
While the dogs and I walked up to the mailbox to mail a card, they seem to be of the opinion that these walks are cat poop excursions. Ugh!

I like the pops of pink with the pale blue of the dress, and the dress itself looks flattering, but also really easy to wear. I like your weekend crops too -- I used to have some with details at the bottom like yours (can't tell if it's a buckle to cinch or a tie) and I miss them.

Also, yay pugs! They look ready for action!

Jill, the charcoal colour is amazing on you!! Wow. Your everyday dog walking outfit is really stylish.

Love the shirt dress, too. The pops of pink are fun. I find mine sort of washes me out (esp. with my grey hair) but nevertheless I adore the style.

Thanks, RWS and Marianna, even though the dress isn't my best color it is easy and comfortable, didn't cost much and is getting plenty of wear. So 3 out of 4 isn't bad!
Suz - have you perhaps identified my neutral?!? It isn't a color I wear often, but hmm. I have always kind of thought more of an olive was my neutral but now you have the wheels turning.....

I agree with Suz...charcoal LOVES you and that outfit is flattering and so cute.

The dress is much more interesting with the new shoes. I have a similar dress, and it's just kinda "meh". But it's so comfortable and easy to wear I'm glad I bought it...that's what great shoes and earrings are for LOL.

Your dogs are such cutie pies...LOVE how they're looking up at you so attentively.

I hear you about dogs liking cat poop, & I'm taking note of those crop pants not attracting dog hair as our 2 Aussies & 1 Border Collie shed a lot. It's great that your Pugs look up at you attentively! I put treats in my pant pockets so I can reward our dogs for looking at me when I ask them to "leave it" around cat poop etc., & I see those pants do have pockets--they're a nice combination of practical & cute details!

I love dresses like that - so easy, breezy, and comfortable. The pops of color take the entire outfit to the next level. I like your dog walking outfit too. I have a very similar pair of crops.

Accessories are great in #1 -- love the sandals!

I also have some gear items from JCP -- their Exersion (that's their spelling, I think) line. There are always some good choices for a modest price there. For me, athleisure/loungewear needs to have real fit and flattery, as well as be updated and easy care. Your look here ticks all those boxes.

Puppies are cute and eager for their walk about!
