Hi ladies
I took a day of annual leave today to go with my sis-in-law to a presentation by Lisa O'Neill (an NZ fashion stylist) at our local mall - which just happens to be right across the road from where I live. Before my major wardrobe purge and style epiphany, today I would've worn jeans, a dressy sweatshirt and my "dressy" crocs - you know, the ones that look like sueded ballet flats and everyone usually remarks what cute shoes and when you tell them they're crocs they look at you like you don't know what you're talking about? Even tho' it was a variation on the usual theme, WIW today was a huge improvement and it was a little scary - it's the first time I've worn my new blue skinny pants and I felt like everyone would be looking at them and thinking how bright they were, but of course that was all in my head. To counter the skinnies I wore a slightly oversized navy three quarter sleeve top with a navy, cream and orange scarf that I bought a couple of years ago but had never worn. I was going to wear my nude wedges but it rained just before I left to walk over to the mall so I switched them for my trusty Sketchers. The "new me" felt good and didn't look out of place with others who were at the presentation.

Pants - Country Road
Sweater - Max
Scarf - Jacqui E
Shoes - Wild Pair
Jacket - David Lawrence
