Another Cropped White Sweater Option

Hi Ladies,

I asked the other day about a cropped white sweater here

I have found this one tonight (the first Find) and I think this might be better. I like the weight and the texture and think it might be a better layering piece. It is described as follows: it is a gorgeous light jumper. It is sheer, with a shimmer through the body and contrast plain sleeves in a creamy white.

It is almost sold out but I have found one at a store interstate

The second Find is the one from the previous post for comparison, and the Pic #1 & #2 are the inspiration picture so you can see what I am going for.

I like that I can see the texture of the first Find in the photo, which would seem to bode well for you. And the lightness/sheerness seems like it would be a good thing for your layering. I can't tell how long it is ... is it tucked? Or am I seeing a just-a-tad ragged edge?

I find #1 much more interesting and intriguing than #2. (I read that thread, but I didn't come up with anything to add.)

I do love your inspiration photo! Neither of these will bring the structure (and probably not as obvious of texture) to an ensemble, as I'm sure you can tell.

I don't know Deborah... I am afraid the sheerness and lightness will lose the effect you are going for. the weight and texture of the inspiration photo is gorgeous.

Can you try it for free or close to free? If so, definitely do that.

Love the inspiration photo. I like the fact this crop sweater has texture but I am with Elizabeth. It's too sheer for the effect you're after. The inspiration photo has a heavier, richly textured cream crop sweater that hangs just right. Definitely try it....maybe the photos don't do justice to it.

I very much like the latest find, I'm unsure if it will have the weight to hang nicely over a button down but can picture it over a sleeveless black dress or tank/vest top. I recently ordered this top for the same purpose.

I like the sweater, but I'm worried the sheerness won't give the same effect as the sweater in the inspiration photo. I like where you're going with this and think it's an interesting look. I've tried it myself but don't have quite the right pieces.

I have the same concerns as Elizabeth but I don't think you'll know for sure until you try it out. Love the idea though.

With the sheerness diffusing the white this one looks much easier to wear, and much easier to layer over. And I like that it'll bring a little softness to your look while still being modern enough to look like you.
