1-2: Coated zippered cropped jeans, forest green and cobalt suede pumps, forest green v-neck, black open vest, chunky rose gold necklace

3-4: Coated cropped jeans, black long sleeved mesh tee, slouchy Harry Potter Snitch tee, chunky rose gold necklace, olive leather moto jacket, rose gold wedges

5: black knit and pleather faux-wrap skirt, mesh and knit tee, denim jacket, micro-fishnets, black pumps, black and bronze bead/tassel necklace

7: Swapped out denim jacket for black/white 3/4 sleeved moto/blazer.

8-9: Forest green v-neck tee, black peplum leather jacket, teal bead/tassel pendant necklace, black trousers with removable cuff, forest green and cobalt suede pumps.

Love it all! Where did you get that lovely green tee? It actually has sleeves, not just cap sleeves! Hard to find sometimes, for me at least.

Thanks! The green tee is the “V-Rex” by Universal Standard. Normally that’s more than I would pay for a tee-I had a gift card from a market research event, and it is VERY high quality. Honestly, I’m getting to a point where most days I’m wearing at least 1 US piece. I promise they aren’t sponsoring me-I just love their clothing.

Wow, you’ve been totally knocking it out of the park lately, Kari, and this latest batch of outfits is no exception. I love all of them! Totally agree that US should hire you as a spokesperson/model!

Kari - thanks for sharing more WIWs, and a fun spectrum of work and play outfits. You seem to have a great grasp of what works for your lifestyle, also for shape and color. Is the long sleeve mesh also Universal Standard? Do you find it versatile? Do you wear it over or under other shirts? (I don't want to show my lingerie, but it seems like a nice layering piece)

Thea, yes, the mesh top is Universal Standard too. I have their Fog top in black (this one) and also the dress. I primarily use it to layer under things, but as it gets warmer I’ll pribanly use it to layer over solid camisoles/tanks. I layer the fog dress over the cropped jeans with a solid tank or tee, just right now I add extra layers on top (like the gilet and a short sleeved slouchy tee) as it’s not warm enough to do otherwise.

Layering with the mesh Fog dress, over these jeans and under a tee/gilet. I would also take the tee off and pop a black camisole on under this.

You look unbelievably vibrant and beautiful in these outfits. I am nodding with those who say that US should be hiring you pronto to model or at least give you sample clothes to wear on the street! Send them your photos! They deserve to know how great their items can look.

Suz, I did! Not for posting, but as a thank you to their lovely Seattle showroom stylist. They love seeing how customers style items. Lately US has featured customers/instagrammers (with way better photo quality than my self-timed-phone-balanced-on-table shots) and I’ve loved seeing how they wear items I’ve never thought of trying.
