20 years! Wow, it has gone by so quickly. We are so fortunate and count our blessings every single day.
We had plans to take the Airstream and J’s telescope to a Dark Sky park for an event known as “Star Party” but the forecast was so bleak, we changed tacks completely and decided to come to NYC for a few nights. We have fancy dinner reservations tonight at a wonderful French restaurant we’ve enjoyed before, so here’s my outfit for the event.
We purchased this dress from Altuzarra on our last visit to Manhattan at Christmastime. Shoes are very old, from LD Tuttle (and I baby them now because I love them and want them to last!). Bag is yes, a new Bao Bao. I love my grey backpack so much I decided to get this black shiny bag that has a highly adjustable strap that functions as a crossbody, a shoulder bag, or a clutch. I expect it to be a workhorse since it’s big enough for everyday but also looks right for a dressier occasion.
It’s turning a bit chilly tonight as storms just swept through, so I brought along my very old Helmut Lang black jacket. I think it works well with the dress even though I didn’t even try it on that way before I threw it in my bag!
Off to enjoy a drink at the bar at the top of our hotel, and then off to dinner. Bonus pics of the incredible view from our room!
