So, I've been busy scanning more photos from 1989, including a couple of reunions we went to a few weeks before the big quake. Leopard prints were popular that year as well. We had a family reunion in Salt Lake City and a 25 year reunion there as well.

Leather skirts were popular too.

I found a dress in my folk's basement that my Mom kept, worn to the winter formal in 1963. Thirty years ago I could still get into it, although some added dimension in the waist. Unfortunately, I don't have one from '63.

1-2-8 leopard outfits. Ignore the guy behind me in 8. I think the skirt was Adrienne Vitadini and the top AKII.
4 leather skirt, possibly AKII. Wool knit top is AKII.
5 Me and my almost 82-yr-old dad and 80-yr-old mom.
6 Two 80s ladies. More about us later.
7-8 Winter prom dress 1963. I swear I did weigh the same in '89 as I did in '63, but I had a couple of kids since then. Nothing like a reunion to inspire a diet.

So if you want some '80s inspiration, I can promise you those were not my real shoulders.
