So today I went out on another style limb. I had thrifted these really nicely made wide leg, high waist jeans (by Joseph), but have never actually wore them. First of all they probably need to be hemmed. Secondly, it is very hard for me to tuck and go - my waist is only slightly smaller than my hips. Because I felt cold, and I love olive and blue together, and I knew I was wearing my blue puffer I wore them with a cashmere sweater (thrifted, vintage Ballantyne, I know this is getting tiresome).
Two noteworthy pieces:
1. Most worn find of the season. +J Uniqlo blue puffer! Thrifted in like new condition. I love it!
2. Shoes - not thrifted! Quite the opposite, these are New Look boots ordered from ASOS on a whim for a ridiculous price (I think about $25 dollars). They kept going out of stock but when popped up in my size (actually a size up) I grabbed them, sure I would send them back. (I have a weakness for ASOS, which is one of the few international brands that ship for free to Israel. Not really in line with my best practices, but consistency is not my hobgoblin.) Anyway, these are the most remarkably well made and comfortable fast fashion boots I have ever wore, and are waterproof with a rubber soul.

Anyway, juxtaposition of disparate elements is very, very me !
