1: I knew I had a low-meeting, low-running-around day, so I could wear heels and a skirt that's not great for walking quickly. I'm not drawn to many patterns, but plaid (and Tim Burton-esque stripes) is the rare exception. The blazer (a secondhand Helmut Lang) is a favorite, though I wish it were a smidge larger around the arms and shoulders. The "me" bits: red and black palette, clean lines and a little drama, a Victorian touch in the lace-up booties.
2: This is what I'm wearing post-day-job... I'm off to the studio to teach dance and poi in about an hour. My color palette extends to dance gear... I have a lot of black, gray, red, and teal there too!
