Hi there, Angie's "you" outfits challenge is perfect timing for my February review, so here goes (I'll keep it short because not much happened!):

  • I bought straight jeans, as per my 'one item per month' challenge for the year. I bought the pink purse pictured as per the 'rules are made to be broken' principle I also bought a couple of black tops for the gym, which were necessary basics so I'm not counting those!
  • In terms of outfit/wears tracking, the only additional items I wore this month, over January were the new jeans, the purse, and one additional long-sleeved t-shirt, due to a brief mild spell. At 37 pieces, this says something about the amount of variety I need, at this time of year at least (i.e. - not much).

Today's outfit is somewhat driven by the weather as it is FRIGID today, but it's pretty "me". It casual, classic, and (I think) polished, has an element of polish. It's minimalistic, neutral, and has a touch of contrast. I'm wearing my favorite nail polish color (a merlot-ish shade) - although my nails are usually nude, this is a "me" color. Everyday jewellery (studs, watch, delicate bracelet) and makeup (mascara and nude-ish lip). It will take me from working from home, to groceries, to the school run, to cleaning and cooking.

Thanks for looking!
