I have been waiting all week for it to finally be warm enough to wear a skirt for this challenge! (Note though that "warm enough" is all relative, it's 33ºF instead of 13! Hey, it's above freezing... I'll take what I can get, especially in advance of the big snow storm we're supposed to get tomorrow.)

This outfit features a skirt and combat boots, which is probably my favorite look ever (although I prefer it with bare legs). On top I layered a cropped handknit sweater and a sleeveless teal blouse with botanical print (my favorite type of print).

Why this look is very me:
--skirt and combat boots!
--asymmetrical ruffles with just the right combo of architectural and drapey
--short over long, unconventional proportions (TBH I'm not 100% sold on the rounded shirttail hem of the blouse here with these proportions, but it's interesting and eye catching at least).
--handknit sweater
--TEAL!
--pattern/texture mixing - I have the floral print on the blouse, the pistripes on the skirt, and the cable pattern and slight variegation of the sweater.
