Casual day (for me, aren’t they all?). Going to have lunch out and run some errands with my husband.
Why this is “so me”:
- the jeans - denim is a huge part of my style, and I have always liked flares. These are a great combination of good fit, flattery, and current.
- the silhouette is simple and fairly classic but I added some edge in the details.
- the Mc Queen scarf motif of skulls plus dragonflies and water lilies is so perfect for me. A combination of pretty and edge/soft and hard.
- the colors are very me — shades of green/teal/turquoise are my favorite, flatter my coloring, and match my eyes
- cowboy boots are an old classic for me that I have always enjoyed regardless of trend, but they come out a bit more at times like now when they do happen to be trending. These are a fun color.
- the coat is my favorite — a great shape and cut for me, and black, which I like for grounding an outfit, especially since I’m wearing colorful footwear, bag, and scarf.
- I’m wearing silver, which is my favorite metal color, including a statement ring, my favorite type of jewelry. This one was a gift from my husband.
- I love the pattern in this Aimee Kestenberg bag. The colors and texture are perfect for me, and the shape is classic and goes anywhere.
- the silver vintage reproduction sunglasses are favorites too. Purchases in Vienna and fitted with my prescription. I’ve had great success with vintage European sunglasses!
