Ok..this is me in spirit if not in execution.
Power still out...I had only packed for 1 day...so....quick trip to Target to get something to wear. Goal was to get something I’d want to wear, not just something I could wear.
camo jacket...it’s trendy but not (I live in Pittsburgh...camo is the default pattern, for those not in the know, black and gold are the default colors, but I digress). Any way, jacket style is good, fit could be better. I like it belted because it creates a more tailored fit, which is me. Ideally I’d have worn a wider belt, but this is what I had. I tried this without the belt, and it was to boxy to be me.
Jeans and boots complete the outfit...
as always feedback, suggestions etc all welcome

Very 2019 with the belt around the jacket, and so very YOU with the jeans and boots.

Nice! I would never have guessed this was a last minute, pulled together outfit. The boots and belt look great together. I also really like the belt over the jacket.

Angie....i call Pittsburgh the "gateway to the Midwest"...we are 30 minutes from Ohio and West Virginia...we don't have the rush/rush feel of an east coast city, but we aren't quite the Midwest either....the city cling's to its blue collar roots, but in reality the world class hospitals (Jonas Salk invented the polo vaccine here) and the universities drive the current economy. Right now the biggest thing in town is self driving cars, Uber and Ford both have projects here, but Goggle and Amazon both are growing, in large part because Carnegie Mellon is a leading robotics research university. We have about as much sun as you do in Seattle, but with less rain. because of the topography (3 Rivers, lots of hills) we tend to be very neighborhood centric, over all we are a small city that still looks at people not born here, and wonders how you got here....

Belting a jacket is an incredibly difficult feat . This looks AMAZING!

Camo is default where I live (for hunting season and beyond) but yours is so much better with the boots! Around me, pink + camo is a big thing...which kinda defeats the whole purpose....
