Angie’s challenge: a week of me

I have so enjoyed learning about everyone’s styles this past week!

Things that are me are: warm neutrals, very little black, lots of navy. A tendency toward classic or minimalist styles, but with some fun injected. Boots or non-dainty shoes. Cashmere sweaters. Simple and smaller scale patterns. Minimal jewelry. Monochrome outfits. I’m also typically a bit rumpled, but my husband and son like to be extremely rumpled and I don’t want to contrast with them too much.
I’m usually pretty casual working from home and taking care of my son or working in a healthcare environment where I need to be conservative and professional but not “corporate”.
1 typical Monday me-brown cashmere turtleneck, warm neutrals, minimalist
2. Started raining- cheer up with striped cashmere sweater, simple white jeans, cowboy boots
3. Work—my classic roots come out, but in comfy knits in warm neutrals.
4. Work from home and lunch with friend-monochome burgundy, non-dainty shoes, classic sillouettes minimal jewelry
5Typical outfit for hanging out with my son who has a typical virus-blue monochrome, chunky boots
6. Typical 2 minute throw on outfit for a wake up late day-button down shirt, skinnies, boots, scarf. Monochrome+ boots

You don’t look rumpled at all!l love all these outfits ,especiallyl#2,3 and 4 oh ,why bother distinguishing between them ,I love them all you look so cute!

You look great in warm colors. My favorite is the last one. That red scarf with the black and white check shirt is fabulous on you. The blue of #5 is a pretty color but does nothing for you. Maybe add the scarf in #6 to that outfit.

You look super cute in all the outfits, fab style. I especially like your non dainty footwear - great boots and sneakers. My favourite of this set of outfits is no 4. Love the leather jacket combined with the skirt, opaques and sneakers. Fab column of burgundy. Effortlessly elegant outfit. I also like no 1 very much - beautiful trousers, very chic with the turtleneck and boots. I like the brown colour on you.

Joy, you’re right the colors of the whole outfit are rather cool for me. Sometime I do wear the red scarf with the blue shirt and it looks better.

Great outfits and I don’t think you look rumpled. My favorite is the first one, with the warm neutrals. I also really like the pattern mixing in #6.

I'm a fan! Interesting that your self description is somewhat rumpled basic, but your actually outfits are full of flair. I love your boots with everything and your combination of bright color with tough shoes. You have great style!

I agree that you do casual and professional very well. I love your boot collection. If I had to choose, I like 5 and 6 the best but every one of these is fab! You don’t look at all rumpled either!

You look so natural, easy-going and pulled together. I'm trying to figure out why your outfits all look so great on you but it's deceptively simple. As others have said, your footwear is wonderful. May I say all the items seem to fit you perfectly? You combine ladylike and casual so well. My faves are 1, 2, and 4. Those wide-legs in 2 are terrific.

I'm voting for #4, with thanks for reminding us that skirts-with-sneakers can still be worn when it isn't bare-legs weather.
