I didn’t get dressed on Friday with the intention of starting this challenge early, but it worked out that what I put on to simply try on ended up being my outfit for the day/evening. I loved wearing it and it felt VERY me. So much so that I felt I had to include it for this challenge. I posted it in the body of another thread but thought I’d give it a post if its own for this challenge.

This is the debut of the Preen skirt, and as you can see, it styles well with tights, boots and a sweater for winter, and will work for me with a tee and sandals in summer.

It’s me because:

- one of my favorite color schemes, and cobalt blue may be my all-time favorite color to wear. It is always a wise choice in a purchase for me as it integrates into my wardrobe easily.

- I feel good wearing a lot of black, especially with one or two items that have a punch of color. The balance in this outfit is just right for me.

- it’s dressier than I usually need yet still very comfortable — I can walk for hours in these shoes.

- statement jewelry and a simple slouchy beret, some of my favorite accessories in recent years.

- a leather moto is one of my favorite ways to complete an outfit. I like it when the weather cooperates and isn’t too warm or too cold!

- it features one of my favorite bags, the cobalt backpack. I’ve had if a few years and it never fails to get compliments.
