I love this velvet button down (Talbots again) but always wear it with my black leather pants. Today I went for volume over volume with these "jeans".
They're not denim but french terry printed to look like denim, courtesy of Rag & Bone. Thus they read as jeans, feel like loungewear.
The jacket was not planned and is not quite right (too thin and slim cut to go over the velvet, looks bunchy, is giving me the sausage-arm feeling from too many layers) but I was cold.
