I thought I'll show you my today's work outfit, based on the animal strechy skirt I used to copy one of Karen's summer look. Now, today was rainy and dark in the morning(but not cold enough for booties) so I paired with black lace tights, black kitten heeled loafers, a taupe(waving to Suz on the plain:-)) ruffle sleeveless blouse and a new black jacket.

I never ever had used a plain black jacket in my life other than for perhaps evening wear. This is probably not too surprising, as an all black outfit or big contrasted one(like black and white in big doses) is not very flattering on me for daywear.

BUT Maria Killam (color expert from Color me Happy blog) says all the time that no wonder a color is not looking good if has nothing to relate with, even if in small doses.

That makes so much sense for me. I don't really like prints near my face but now I collected some printed pencils which have blacks to them (or have really dark tones) and so they make work this jacket trully well!

I like this blazer's fit as it is streamlined, it has some shoulder paddings (for balancing out my hips) and is a bit longer, so hope to go well over my new to me skinny jeans, too.(late for the trend, I know:-))

I'm continuously looking for a new fall bag, but cannot decide on the colour, yet. I never wore this summer coral bag for fall previously, but was pushing my boudaries here, as wasn't really in the mood for my old grey or taupe one.

I have a lot of scarves, but my DD's grey lace infinity scarf gets for a reason another wear today:-))
