Hi everyone, I'm one of the many lurkers who was de-lurked by the new privacy changes. I've been an avid reader for years and have learned so much from you all. I'm a 49 year old, married with a 9 year old son and a fur baby, and another Canadian! I have followed you all and feel like I know so many of you, and I've always felt a bit guilty about the whole lurking thing. So I'll offer up some personal info, and that will help explain the apology.

Two years ago I sustained a traumatic brain injury. I have recovered a lot but it's still a daily challenge. For the first six months I lived in pj's, progressed to yoga gear for another year or so, and now I've graduated to getting dressed and actually taking an interest in what I wear! I'm still off work so my clothing is mostly SAHM/MOTG, even though my activity level isn't quite up to that yet. But the hardest part is adjusting to the 30 or so extra pounds I've gained from this.

So the apology... Getting words down is still a huge challenge so please accept my apologies in advance if my comments aren't original or sound funny, they are made with the best of intentions but don't always come out right! I wish I could express how much I have appreciated being part of this forum from the sidelines, you all have shown me what an amazing and generous group you are. I'm looking forward to getting involved, and working my way up to posting pics! Baby steps....
