First, I want to thank K. Period. and Alaskagirl, for their links to the GAP navy-and-white gingham shirt last year, which I promptly went out and purchased. I was sold after seeing both of them in it.
A few weeks ago we celebrated Mother's Day with a casual lunch at a wonderful Belgian restaurant, Si Bon, near where my parents live. Afterwards, I wanted to head to Anthropologie and Sephora, on El Paseo, and my mother and brother wanted to stop first at Costco. Seeing that it was a weekend to honor mothers, I happily went on all the errands.
Here I am in my gingham shirt, white Banana Republic jeans, navy Aqua cashmere cardigan, blue patent Ralph Lauren kitten slingback with my aqua Michael Kors tote, perched next to cat food.
If I were to add some cognac-light accessories, and I have, (but I can't seem to find the photo), I'd wear my animal-print pumps or my Anyi Lu boots, too.
I'll happily join in the gingham group hug!
