Angie's topic on sneakers was very timely as I was in the middle of a shopping crisis trying to find comfortable shoes for a trip to Scotland. We are on a bus tour that starts in Edinburgh goes up through the Highlands and then ends in Glasgow. After that we will have 4 days in London and I expect to be on my feet a lot.

I was trying to find something fairly neutral but with my narrow and fussy feet I couldn't seem to work that out. I ended up buying two pairs of runners, one blue and one pink, and I am leaning toward the blue ones because I have a lot of blue clothes. I have a few pictures of the shoes with some of the items I was thinking of taking. Tell me what you think. Are these just too athletic looking and will I be the crazy Canadian in the UK?

Also, has anyone traveled in Scotland and London in early July? I am planning of taking jeans, will I be too hot
