Usually I'm too afraid to do pattern mixing, but today I tried to pull it off (and I think it worked). Pictures later tonight, but the elements are the silk floral top from this WIW:

I tucked the silk top into the skirt, and wore nude patent ballet flats (generously sent to me by bj1111 last year).
Do you think this works? Now I've added a photo! I got two compliments on it today (after I posted about it originally), one person telling me that I was an "outfit-making machine" (there was some context for this).
