Una's recent hair posts have been such a kick, it has me hankering for my next hair appointment. Many of you have noticed that lately I am letting my hair's natural wave/curl do its thing, since I'm tired of fighting it to straighten it, which is never totally successful anyway.

I've had the asymmetric cut for almost a year now, and I still like it a lot. Funny thing is, the asymmetry is much less evident when I let my hair go wavy.

So, I'm going to start looking at ideas for my next haircut to see how I can take advantage of my hair texture and add some edge back into my style that I feel the wave softens. My style takes a softer, lighter, slightly more boho turn in the summer, so I feel the need to add something more distinctive and a little tough back into the formula. I thought I'd toss it out there and see if anyone has any ideas.

Here's a selfie from yesterday with my most current hair -- air dried and grown out quite a bit since my last cut. Basically I blow-dry the bangs a little to control their direction and let the rest air dry. Minimal product. I like how it looks but feel like I want more somehow.
