Accessorizing a tonal column

After a midwinter break in Arizona, I'm more than ready to shed the winter layers. Seattle was blessed today with mild weather and abundant sunshine. Spring is coming! I used a tonal column of color with Gap wide leg jeans and a dark turquoise silk shirt by Classiques Entier. The accessories add some extra punch with goldtone hoop earrings, a faux turquoise bangle bracelet, a brown/gold/turquoise belt by Bed Stu and the metallic teal "Liberace" boots by Free People.

You look fabulous. I try to accessorize with shoes and
and bag that match the outfit. I try to add a coordinating scarf although it is usually a print, earrings coordinate with the metal hardwear in the outfit. Gold or silver.

I was just in Seattle last week, and enjoyed some sunshine and warm weather there myself. I also got to check out a fab consignment store in Kirkland, lots of temptations but not enough room in my luggage to bring anything home.

Wow! That is an amazing way to greet the coming spring. The different textures of the jeans, leather belt, silk blouse and gold hoops make the outfit interesting. Love how you accessorised and it really elevates your outfit.

Love the feminine vibe with an edge(the jeans!!) teal is a juicy color I love, but don't own much-but see you have a fab &corelated collection-did you wear a coat, too? Anyway, YLF!

I’m with Angie in missing Classiques Entier. I think I am down to one jacket from them. Antonio Melani at Dillards has filled the silk blouse gap, but their jackets aren’t as fun.

What a gorgeous color combo! The soft tones are marvelous on you. My monitor makes the top look more seafoam, just as wonderful with the taupe in the scarf.

cat2: I agree 100% about Classiques Entier. One of Nordstrom's best in-house brands that should have never been discontinued.

Turquoise is such a flattering colour! Great outfit and styling. I’m a fan of your Liberace boots. You just need Brooklyn’s gorgeous teal bag (which I not-so-secretly lust after!)
