I wore this the day before yesterday and actually thought to snap a couple of photos, since I debuted the Ted Baker scarf/cape from NAS. It was a hot day but I had a casual happy hour to attend (which ended up lasting until 11pm!) with a photographer group. The wrap was a great way to stay breezy but show some personality -- it's a conversation starter! I really enjoyed wearing it, but it's not a wallflower piece (so maybe good for wearing in artsy situations when I should be networking!). Also I need to look out for door handles and such, because the "sleeves" can billow and catch on things.
The base outfit is really casual and boring -- plain tee and old cutoff and rolled jean shorts, but this is why shoes and accessories are so important to me! These shoes are by AS 98 and I got them at Bulo in SF -- a birthday purchase, and so is the necklace, which Jamie picked out for me. I like that the tiger eye and silver design is delicate yet distinctive.
I also added the Gaudi-inspired ring I got in Barcelona, in support and honor of the people affected in the awful events of the other day. Trying to stay positive and balanced in light of all the upheaval in the world right now. Sending hugs and peace to any of you who might be feeling fear or despair. ❤️
