It's been colder than usual so I bundled up on Wednesday in sweater, trousers, and booties, and then I decided to entertain myself by seeing if I could keep the formula going all week. Spoiler alert: I could! I guess I cheated a little because there were only four work days this week -- Wednesday was Veteran's Day and I had the day off (see bonus photo 5: me leading my Rotary Club Zoom meeting in my Rotary polo shirt!).

1. These pants are OBG: I got them several years ago and they have been workhorses. The sweater is also a year or two old, and the booties are OBG workhorses I feel like I've had forever. Pretty sure I got them at Ingefest in Seattle!

2. These Diane von Furstenberg pants were $298 and I was horrified to pay that much for such a basic item, but they make my legs look magically long and they have worn like iron for 4 or 5 years now. So definitely OBG. The booties and sweater are from a couple of years ago, I think.

3. You can't beat the J Crew Tippi sweater, amirite? These pants are so old I wore them to vote in 2016 (I remember because they were part of a pantsuit -- remember Pantsuit Nation?! The blouse is new this year and I love that it has extra buttons on the placket to avoid the dreaded bustal gappage! The fun matchy-matchy snake booties are new this year, too, and they're waterproof!

4. I never wore denim to the office before the pandemic, but we have gone business casual for the duration so what the heck? These jeans are from last year, the booties are ancient, the sweater is a few years old and the scarf was a birthday gift a couple of months ago.

Thanks for looking! I hope everybody has a good weekend coming up!
