Here is Thursday's outfit. Today is a weird day in our office. The wife of our CFO is delivering their second child (and first son) on Tuesday. Therefore, we are hosting a baby shower for the happy couple and the big sister. The shower will be tomorrow but the preparation has to be done today. Therefore, I went a bit more towards the casual side of "business casual".

The top is a New York and Company button up that I thrifted (with tags still on) for a mere $1.99. The skinny belt was only $.50. I paired the items with a pair of brown trousers that are part of a suit.

Thanks for sharing your outfits. You look great. I LOVE Wedneday's outfit with the yellow cardi and necklace.

Here is Friday's outfit. Fridays are casual dress in our office. I wanted to incorporate Angie's rules about smart casual today - but with temps soaring to the 103 mark, jean were not an option. Instead I opted to pair this floaty blouse with a pair of walking shorts.

Great Work!

Loved everyone! Executive yet very young and fashion, loved the colors used also!

I liked your interpretations of workplace casual - still very professional.

You might add another pair of walking shorts to your shopping list if you have hot weather often (I never think about the heat anymore as I am in SF) and those can mix into Fridays.

New York and Company has great options for trend pieces and accessories. Do you have one nearby? I get too much spam from them but they send coupons almost daily lately so shopping there without one is not right either.
Check their website to sign up but at peril for spam!

What a great week! I am joining the chorus of those who especially love Wednesday's outfit. What a great example of how to make an Audrey-ish little black dress look completely professional.

I've worn walking shorts to work last summer & this summer, too. I was really hesitant about it until I saw a few other women wearing cargo-style clamdiggers to work, and I figured that walk shorts in a dressy fabric would definitely be appropriate.

To add to Chris' suggestion, The Limited also had some cute looking walk shorts on their website a couple weeks ago if you are looking for a second pair.
