Wednesday is the best yet! LOVE. You look like you mean business!!
My only critique would be that the white jewelry looks a tad too matchy-matchy to me. The general rule of thumb is only two items in the same color. Sometimes you can get away with three, but since all three of your white elements are jewelry, it looks too much like a set, which is kind of old-fashioned way to go these days. All the pieces are GREAT and you will get tons of mileage out of them - just don't wear them all at once! To modernize, what I would do is simply swap out the earrings for silver or gold studs. Or swap the necklace for a scarf.
That sheath dress is wonderful and you can style it in so many ways, and wear it year-round. For example:
- with a scarf instead of necklace
- with a blazer instead of a cardigan
- with a long cardigan belted with a skinny belt
- with a white button down shirt underneath
- with a turtleneck in a flattering color
- with knee-high boots
- with textured tights and spectator booties
- with ballet flats
- with a jean jacket for casual fridays
Since I know you are making a list of accessories to shop for, let me add "something in an animal print." A handbag or a pair of pumps or a belt in an animal print (just one - not all at once) would take this outfit from Love to Killer.
Have you thought about what kind of handbag or tote you want for work? Do you need to bring a laptop or lots of paperwork back and forth on your commute?
