I don’t think I’ve shared this Sezane sweater yet. I picked it up secondhand online a couple months ago after stalking it for a while. It’s a combination or two of my favorite things: Bretons and henleys! The sleeves are just a little ballooned, but not so much as to be impractical. It’s a perfect length for higher rises, but not so short you couldn’t wear it with a mid rise. It’s all cotton, so I have a merino tank top underneath for warmth (we have several inches of new snow on the ground today... sigh...). Pants are from Alex Mill a couple years ago. Sneakers are insulated Vans, because snow.
I ordered two more jumpsuit type thingies to try on. Both are from Outerknown, which nemosmom suggested a while back. The shorts version is a bit too big all over (and a bit too orange for me too), so it’s going back.
The long green one, though, I’m on the fence about. On one hand, it fits great and I love the colour. On the other hand, I’m really not a fan of zippers, and this one has a front zip, something I said I’d avoid. I have bad zipper karma, and don’t like to worry about getting stuck in my clothes, or not being able to close them back up. I also don’t really love the high neckline — a little too close to an actual uniform for me. The buttons are placed such that it doesn’t look right to just leave them open, but it does seem like I could iron the collar down as in #4 and it would be much better, a little more open. Oh, and the included belt is a bit shorter than I’d like. Not a total deal-breaker, but it means I’d probably wear it sans belt (as in #3) most of the time. I think I will probably say next, but there is definitely part of me that wants to keep it!
ETA — sorry for the ridiculous yard work ponytail/headband combo! Keeping it real I guess.
