I have been dressing up for work most days, but I figured it would be fun to wear an actual dress today. Since Boden has been doing some good work during the pandemic to help the NHS, I ordered from them a while ago.

My package took a wrong turn and ended up in Syracuse, after a long time when there was no tracking info, but it eventually made its way to me. Over 3 weeks in transit! This dress was one of the goodies, so I wore it today to honor the start of May, even though the weather outside if foul.

I'm including a few more outfits below, plus the Finds one I didn't get to take a pic of because I was slammed with work--the hot pink blouse, bootcut jeans and pink slip on sneakers. It looked good!

The red dress was worn on my husband's birthday--it's more JFE in person than in the photo.

Things are about the same here in NYC, except that restaurants that closed earlier are opening back up for takeout and/or delivery. Most people in my neighborhood are wearing masks, though I hear that's not true in other places. My employer will keep us working at home indefinitely, even after the localities where our offices are located ease things up a bit. I can't imagine I'll be back in the office any time before September, if then, so I am taking the long view about what I need to wear to work at home all summer. I will soon evaluate my summer clothes with an eye to that.
