Rachylou, Anne - the other dress is Madewell. Very easy to wear at home but feels special.
Thanks, torontogirl!
slim cat - my hair looks good growing out, but I can’t stand having it in my face. So I decided headbands were going to be my quarantine thing.
Angie - I’m sorry Boden didn’t work out for you. I got the dark blue version of the cream jeans and also a sweatshirt that needs to be exchanged for a smaller size. I’ve added the find for the dress here - Madewell. We went for a walk out on the streets today - too many people were out and my husband had to help up an older gentleman who collapsed on the street (seemed like a blood sugar or similar issue, but COVID, but who knows). The better weather won’t be good for us. People are going crazy in their tiny apartments. I’m doing okay in mine. Work is busy. I need to get outside each day. though.
The Cat - I can’t wait for sandal season, despite the lack of pedicure. I’ll have to decide which shoes are inside shoes, though....
Kellygirl - headbands are very YMMV. Their either look great or awkward on people. For me it’s the former, but who knows why? Some combo of face shape and hair type, I guess. I’m probably a little old for them myself but they work for me right now, both in terms of style and practicality!
runcarla - you’re very sweet, thank you! I love this headband. I got it before the quarantine but it’s come in even handier than I imagined. I’m glad you’re in a low case area!
Bijou and nemosmom, thank you, and I’m sorry I missed a pic of that outfit. It did look good. I was slammed with work that day though, and forgot to take it. Oh well!
Liesbeth - that’s too bad! I am having to avoid thinking about the travel plans that didn’t go forward this year. Makes me so sad.
Brooklyn, I hope so too. My employer has flat out said they won’t rush to send us back to the office. Our transition to working from home (about 800 people globally) has been pretty seamless. Our Beijing office is the only one back working in person, I think, oddly enough, or they will be soon.
Joy - it’s stressful but I seem to be coping okay, fortunately. I’ve settled in a bit. The dress is a jersey dress with no zipper.
avicenna - I am fortunate because, since I have no one who needs active care, I am able to both work and focus on things like my outfits without much interruption. Many folks have it much harder than me right now. I hope you are hanging in there okay.
Thanks, JAileen!
